Contel is the supervisor of the COGNEX barcode readers in Israel. COGNEX’s readers can read fast, multiple barcodes in one image and in different orientations.

 DataMan® series

This series is comprised of different types of manual and immobile readers that work with an image-based technology.  The readers work with all types of recognized media and easily interface with all types of controllers, production floor management systems, MRPs, robots, printers, and more. With these readers, we establish data testing systems. These systems test the suitability of a barcode (product) to the work command. The tests prevent the sending of a product that does not match the packaging. These systems can potentially prevent consumption of allergens by allergic persons and recalls.

Immobile, one-dimension barcode, or one that is read in slow movement, printed on the product parts or the product package.

Fast, one-dimension barcode characterized by fast movement reading, printed on parts or packages.

Two-dimension, printed barcode, read by an immobile or mobile reader, printed on labels and packages. May include a combination of one and two-dimension codes.

Two-dimension data matrix codes marked in the Direct Part Mark Dot peen method, via etching or laser directly on the parts.
