Project: Equipment, electricity and monitoring systems for the new power station \u201cEtgal\u201d in Ashdod.<\/p>\n

Project description: A variety of technical solutions provided by Contel. These solutions include a process monitoring system of Rockwell Automation, PlantPax series, and controllers with an SIL3 security classification. The project includes the planning of the central monitoring system, manufacturing and provision of the control cabinets and all software systems for controlling the power station\u2019s systems. In addition, Contel provides central electricity cabinets with an output of 3200 amperes based on Rittal\u2019s system and the ABB system \u2013 which includes a replacement and synchronization system for a generator. In addition, Contel provides an MCC panel with two inlets of 1250 amperes, automatic replacement, and smart starters with an Ethernet\/IP communication.

<\/b> Project description: Contel planned and provided a monitoring system for a submarine base. The monitoring system elevates and lowers the underwater security system. The system is comprised of a steel net with optic fibers, casted along hundreds of meters. The level of the security system is monitored and adjusted to the tides. The project includes the provision of 58 stepper motors made by JVL for marine environments. The motors command 58 buoys deployed across the steel net. The monitoring system is a product of Rockwell Automation and is based on CompactLogix controllers. Contel provided three transportable rooms with six CEMS systems for CO, NOX and O2 monitoring. The entire system was planned and manufactured by Contel. The systems, product of ABB, model URAS 26, includes 500 analyzers installed in Israel.<\/p>

The Analyzer enables automatic calibration with gas-filled calibration cells (which eliminates the need for calibration gas cylinders). It also provides QAL 3 data. The sampling systems are also made by ABB.<\/p>

We also provide a DAS data storage system which receives the data from the analyzer, processes calls and forwards them to the Ministry of Environment Protection in FTP files as required.<\/p>

The entire system is QAL 1- approved, as required by the Ministry of Environmental Protection in a continuous monitoring procedure \u2013 2017 version.<\/p>

Contel Electromechanics was chosen to be the main electrical contractor for the construction of the new power plant being built in Alon Tavor.
As part of the project, we manufactured the prefabricated structures that will serve as electrical rooms, heads, rooms for MCC panels and control panels in the project.
The electrical and control panels are manufactured in our factory in the Mevo Carmel Industrial and Science Park and are sent for installation in buildings and installed at the power station.

Project description: A variety of technical solutions provided by Contel. These solutions include a process monitoring system of Rockwell Automation, PlantPax series, and controllers with an SIL3 security classification. The project includes the planning of the central monitoring system, manufacturing and provision of the control cabinets and all software systems for controlling the power station\u2019s systems. In addition, Contel provides central electricity cabinets with an output of 3200 amperes based on Rittal\u2019s system and the ABB system \u2013 which includes a replacement and synchronization system for a generator. In addition, Contel provides an MCC panel with two inlets of 1250 amperes, automatic replacement, and smart starters with an Ethernet\/IP communication.
